Does your auto insurance go up if someone on your insurance gets into an accident?

My boyfriends mom is making him get his own auto insurance because she doesn’t like him driving on CA-17. Would her auto insurance, as in the insurance that it costs to cover her car, go up if he got in an accident in his car that is under his name on her insurance policy?

Hi all, this is in regards to auto insurance, I have a reckless driving conviction from 2 years ago,?

I’ve been paying a lot more over this time for auto insurance, most insurance companies “punish” you for any violations in the past 3 years, I’m wondering if there are any that have a 2 year limit? Thanks!

Does it matter how long you have been with your auto insurance?

My auto insurance is up for renewal and the premium has gone up. There are no changes to my policy from the previous year. No accidents etc. Because the premium has gone up I have been shopping around. I have informed my insurance company that I have been looking for a better premium. They informed me that its better when a person stays with the same carrier vs moving around to different carriers. They said its especially important when you have a claim. Is that true?

I’m planning on getting a car when I turn 16. I’m mostly gonna get an older car maybe from 1995 and up and/or 3,000 dollars down. My mom has Allstate Insurance so I wanted to know: How much would I have to pay for Auto Insurance? I’m a girl I don’t know if that matters or not, but I’ve heard that guys pay more for Insurance because of bad driving…

Do I have to purchase an AAA membership if I want to get AAA auto insurance?

I’ve had AAA insurance for about 3 years now and when I initially signed up, the insurance agent told me that I had to have AAA membership in order to purchase AAA auto insurance. I used my AAA membership maybe once these 3 years and w/ my financial situation deteriorating, I’d like to not renew my AAA membership this year but keep my AAA auto insurance. Possible?

Do I have to list all additional drivers for auto insurance in Ontario?

I am shopping for auto insurance and noticed that if I include my wife and son in the quote, the insurance jumps from $1600 a year to $3100. That’s almost double and none of them have any accidents or anything. If I don’t include them as secondary drivers, can they still drive the vehicle and be insured? And if not, does that mean that every family in Ontario must list all family members that MIGHT drive the vehicle? Answers are MUCH appreciated.
